An Introduction

Hi there. I’m Lucas Preston, a new photographer, based in Calgary, Alberta, that specializes in portraits, headshots, and fine art photography. Prior to becoming a photographer, I was in the field of science and engineering, pursuing a career as an engineering technologist.

I am excited to bring out the best in people that sit for me, so my philosophy behind a shoot is based in making genuine connections. My goal is to show the depth of character in the model/client that I collaborate with. This means that I like to take my time getting into the shoot while we converse about anything from art to life’s largest questions.
